The grandmother's cottage

In the eighth episode the grandmother's cottage is only part of a story Ylfa overhears in the Auroratory, where voices keep telling the tale of Little Red Riding Hood NA E8·00:54:46. Brennan says the voices tell of a girl told to bring food to her grandmother in the wood and stay on the path, who did not and met a wolf NA E8·00:54:46. In the voices' telling the wolf ran ahead to the grandmother's cottage, ate the grandmother, and said "my, what big eyes you have" when the girl arrived NA E8·00:54:46.

In the ninth episode the party and the Fairy with Turquoise Hair find themselves in a dark cottage inside a memory, where a bed holds a large shape in a nightcap and a gown, and a completely non-lycanthropic Little Red Riding Hood walks in with a basket NA E9·00:50:45 NA E9·00:51:14. Brennan says that when Grandma's ears and teeth are noticed, the sheets and cap fall away to reveal an enormous wolf that towers in the cottage like an ancient monument NA E9·00:53:19 NA E9·00:54:05. The Wolf tells Ylfa "I've eaten her. She is in my stomach now." NA E9·00:55:21

Ylfa waits in the cottage for the Woodsman NA E9·00:55:42, and the Wolf says "The Woodsman is not coming." NA E9·00:57:50 Emily narrates that Ylfa, her hunger taking over, picks up the ax NA E9·00:59:26. Brennan describes the Wolf laying his head down as the ax comes down, and Ylfa, with hands and teeth, eating of the Wolf's body, her face covered in blood NA E9·01:00:27 NA E9·01:01:01. When the memory leaves, the cottage is empty, the bed soaked with blood, with no wolf and no girl but Ylfa, who is with the party again NA E9·01:01:43.
