Squire's bedroom
Brennan describes Squire Badger's bedroom, which Daisy and the Widow McCabbage enter, as containing an enormous standing mirror that faces out through a window MM E7·01:28:40. Next to the mirror hangs a portrait that Daisy knows is a trick portrait; swung open, it shows a dozen small breakers MM E7·01:28:40. Under the breakers are switches that create little networks, and one breaker is labelled CB-SR MM E7·01:28:40.
The bedroom holds the house's master switchboard: the trick portrait hides a dozen breakers and switches, and the standing mirror in the room is connected to a breaker marked T MM E7·01:28:40 MM E7·01:29:40. Brennan says the top switch, MB, is connected to CB-SR, which is connected to T MM E7·01:29:40. The players guess MB means master bedroom or master breaker and T means the tower, and Brennan confirms that the tower is currently connected to CB-SR and to MB MM E7·01:30:18 MM E7·01:30:31 MM E7·01:32:28 MM E7·01:32:40.
In MM_09 Brennan reminds Daisy that she correctly deciphered a letter earlier that evening at the master switchboard in Squire Badger's bedroom MM E9·01:38:43. When Sam asks whether the docks and the tower connect through the house's technology, Brennan says they were not connected on the switchboard in the bedroom, but could be if someone went to the switchboard and switched them around MM E9·02:02:30 MM E9·02:02:49 MM E9·02:02:54.
In MM_10 Lars dashes up to Squire Badger's bedroom, where, as he remembers, Daisy told him all of the switches are, intending to switch things until he can find his friends on the other side and communicate MM E10·02:01:05 MM E10·02:01:35. Later Brennan has Lars rush up to the bedroom and the switches and says he sees Sylvester Cross dying on the floor of the bathroom MM E10·02:16:26. After a success Lars rushes down the stairs and finds Sylvester collapsed in the bathroom MM E10·02:17:32.
