Cottonbottom says the castle has been turned into a munitions depot MM E3·00:05:21.
In the flashback, Cottonbottom says an interfering detective may have alerted the local authorities to the munitions, Sylvester answers that the castle did not have proper protections, and Cottonbottom chains Sylvester's wrist to his own MM E3·00:05:21 MM E3·00:05:49 MM E3·00:06:14. Daisy says in MM_06 that it is the common conception that Fletcher fell to his death at Reichenbunny Falls, but she has seen him alive many times in Istanbul and Vienna MM E6·01:21:21. In the finale Sylvester names Fletcher Cottonbottom in front of Lawrence Longfoot, who is revealed to be Fletcher in disguise MM E10·01:32:37 MM E10·01:33:21.
