Ghost

In the drawing room after Squire Badger is found, Brennan tells Grant that Mrs. Molesly's hands are covered in blood and that the rest of the room is going through the same dilemma: "either ghosts did this" or Mrs. Molesly had to have killed him MM E3·00:32:17 MM E3·00:32:49. Grant says he knows both of those things aren't true MM E3·00:32:54.

The idea of ghosts first comes up as one of the two explanations Brennan says the room is considering for Squire Badger's death, the other being that Mrs. Molesly killed him MM E3·00:32:17 MM E3·00:32:49. Later in MM_03 Sylvester asks Lars whether he also saw Cottonbottom, and Lars answers "What, yes." MM E3·01:57:35 MM E3·01:57:44. In MM_04 Grant says out of character that he saw Fletcher Cottonbottom and doesn't believe in ghosts, so Sylvester thinks either Fletcher is here or he is losing his mind MM E4·01:28:08.

In MM_06 Brennan says the ghost of Connor McCabbage looks at Daisy MM E6·00:12:59. Later he tells her she has "fully summoned a ghost", and Ian says "God is real!" MM E6·00:18:40 MM E6·00:19:03. In MM_07 Catherine McCabbage says she saw her husband bright in a dark upstairs room and wonders whether Loam Hall is haunted MM E7·00:17:48. When Rekha throws the breaker, Brennan says Sylvester sees "the ghost of Daisy D'umpstaire" standing on the dock MM E7·01:06:51. Rekha explains it as a method by which someone in that bathroom has their "illusion or ghost" projected out of the house MM E7·01:07:47. In MM_08 the crystal ball shows "the ghost of Sylvester Cross" MM E8·00:50:17. Buckster says "Ghosts do exist and he is one", and Daisy replies "I think this is that projection thing" MM E8·00:50:40 MM E8·00:50:46.

In MM_10 Connor McCabbage is found alive in the tower, trapped before a mirror, and tells Daisy "You were the woman I spoke to in the mirror" MM E10·00:32:05. When Lars, Constance and Lucretia burst in and everyone shouts "Ghosts!", Buckster says "There is no such thing as ghosts" and that Lucretia is alive MM E10·01:54:47 MM E10·01:54:52. Ian says he first saw a ghost and then "discovered that that ghost was fake" MM E10·01:59:33. In the epilogue Sylvester tells Lady Lucretia "I've seen a ghost", and she answers "Yes, I've seen several." MM E10·02:42:52 MM E10·02:43:02.
