The Daily Observer is a tall skyscraper with a huge rotating eye on top, and an enormous bullpen of reporters MEN E1·00:32:57. Its Editor-in-Chief is Freddy Focus MEN E1·00:32:57. Officer Connell calls it "the paper of record" MEN E1·00:22:59. Focus brags that "That earwax story got us a Pulitzer." MEN E1·00:35:16.
The Daily Observer is the paper of Anastasia Tension and of Freddy Focus, its editor MEN E1·00:32:57 MEN E1·00:22:59. In MEN_02 the dying messenger says he has to get his message to the Daily Observer and the editor MEN E2·01:08:57. In MEN_04 Anastasia stalls the troopers as the Daily Observer, and the mayor calls Mr. Focus the editor of her newspaper MEN E4·00:31:42 MEN E4·01:30:44. In MEN_05 she introduces herself in court as its representative MEN E5·01:07:37. In MEN_06 Elias makes it to the newspaper, where a voice answers "This isn't Notre Dame." and then "Okay, I gotcha." MEN E6·01:38:57 MEN E6·01:39:01. In Danielle's epilogue the paper promotes Anastasia to page two MEN E6·01:46:21.
