Max uses they/them pronouns, and the character card reads "Station Agent. Always in uniform, good in an emergency." MEN E2·00:57:45. Max greets her with "Anastasia! Been long enough, sweetheart." MEN E2·00:58:16.
Max Medula is the station agent of Oblongata Station and a friend of Anastasia Tension, who has an in with them MEN E2·00:56:28 MEN E2·00:55:07. In MEN_03 the party works out that the central key belongs to the stationmaster, Max MEN E3·00:44:43. In MEN_04 Max greets Anastasia with "Oh, twice in one day. To what do I owe the honor?" MEN E4·00:07:40, and says "I owe you big time. You've gotten me out of a lot of jams." MEN E4·00:10:06 MEN E4·00:07:40. Max reports over 300 incidents by Stacy Fakename, lets the party at the master switchboard, and goes off for tea, vodka and champagne MEN E4·00:09:22 MEN E4·00:10:31 MEN E4·00:11:32.
In MEN_06 Max comes back with "I got your champagne right here!" MEN E6·00:11:00 and tries to stop Imelda from putting her key in the machine, and fails MEN E6·00:11:00 MEN E6·00:15:39. Max insists "I am the station agent here" MEN E6·00:17:23 and that everything has to go through Cortex City MEN E6·00:17:23. Hunch flings Max, who pulls the alarm crying "Crimes! Crimes!" MEN E6·00:20:13 MEN E6·00:20:15. Max later calls Dan "Mr. Emergency Mayor!" MEN E6·00:27:49.
