Rawlins is the pirate librarian at the Compass Points front desk, hunched and long gray-bearded, with a chained tome marked "Here be pirate spells" S2E7·00:12:50 S2E7·00:12:34. He speaks of spells turning parrots to bananas to gold, claims to have eaten "42 parrots", and turns Fig into a parrot when she tries to steal his book S2E7·00:14:33 S2E7·00:15:16 S2E7·00:17:31.
Fig later disguises herself as him to walk out with a book S2E7·00:54:07. He is named only then, when Ayda stops her with "Rawlins, where are you going with that book?" S2E7·00:55:09. He shows Gorgug the friendship section S2E7·00:56:48. He claims "I command the seven winds of the nine stars" S2E7·00:58:29. If the book is pulled out of its chain he collapses into a skeleton, and with it back in he says "That just gives me meat" S2E7·00:59:18.
Fig calls him the man who works at the library front desk, and Ayda says "That's not been my experience of Rawlins" S2E10·01:57:04 S2E10·01:57:12. He is later left in charge at the Compass Points with a magical blunderbuss S2E14·01:36:13.
