The Teddies
Beneath the dining hall are rows and rows of embryonic pods with hunched figures inside, the size of an average person SWE2·01:37:44 SWE2·01:38:04. Gabe says: "They're all Teddy." SWE2·01:38:16. There are about 10 of the pods SWE2·01:39:35.
The Teddies are copies of Teddy, found in pods in the dining hall basement, about 10 of them SWE2·01:38:16 SWE2·01:39:35. One Teddy tries to leave and is caught by Tuti; he has a tongue made of gold, and once let go he burrows into the ground at the clothes swap SWE2·01:40:24 SWE2·01:46:19 SWE2·01:49:02. A Teddy earlier says "I'm the 14th" SWE2·01:20:30. In the third episode Drusille says she saw a very gray Teddy repeating "The hive hungers", and Seven asks if all the Teddies hatched SWE3·00:33:44 SWE3·00:33:48 SWE3·01:10:26.
In the finale a Teddy says "I am Teddy Prime, actually" and that he came looking for number XIV SWE4·00:05:57 SWE4·00:06:06. He says the clones were made because he did not want to do the work himself, as a deal with the vice dean SWE4·00:10:05 SWE4·00:10:31. He lost the connection to XIII about 48 hours earlier and says of that one that it is written off now that they are on XIV SWE4·00:13:54 SWE4·00:14:53. Megan suggests the sack holding missing people was Teddy XIII, and Teddy answers "Unlucky XIII" SWE4·00:12:49 SWE4·00:12:57. Teddy Prime's voice speaks in Terry's head at the end: "You're welcome" SWE4·01:38:12.
