In the back of the dining hall Gabe shows a door that says basement, with a large lock on it SWE2·01:30:33. Steps lead down to rows and rows of embryonic pods SWE2·01:37:44.

The basement under the dining hall is behind a large lock, and below it are about 10 pods the size of people, each holding a Teddy, in a space like a living room SWE2·01:30:33 SWE2·01:39:34 SWE2·01:39:35. In the third episode the door is open and unlocked, and Gabe says there is nothing down there and it smells of bleach SWE3·00:52:36 SWE3·00:52:40 SWE3·00:52:51.
