The Land of Giants

In the fourteenth episode the Land of Giants is only mentioned. Alba tells the party that the last anyone saw the Golden Goose was north, far north, in the land of giants NA E14·00:17:28. Pib says he does not like giants, and that giants he knows kind of destroyed his kingdom NA E14·00:17:54.

In the fourteenth episode Alphonse says an older man from Pottingham took off north talking about giants, and that he knows the Snow Queen has giants under her command NA E14·00:51:55. In the fifteenth episode Rosamund tells Snow White that Pib has business with the giants he wants to take care of NA E15·01:13:09. The Snow Queen's horse Clara says the way runs across the vast tundra to the mountains in the north of Snowhold, whose top is the castle of the North Wind, and past that, they say, is the Land of Giants NA E15·01:50:14. Looking down from the cloud path, the party sees rolling countryside, and Siobhan's Perception check finds the castles below are not giant ones NA E15·02:11:23 NA E15·02:12:41.

Descending the beanstalk, the party sees watch fires and a landscape of flames, scorched earth and cut-down trees, and villagers cry that "They are here!" NA E15·02:16:28 NA E15·02:17:11. In the sixteenth episode Brennan's recap says the party arrived down the beanstalk to find the land in a state of preparedness for giant incursions, and jokes along with the cast that to its tiny people the party are the giants NA E16·00:01:34.

In the eighteenth episode Brennan describes giants 100 feet tall among the mountains, as tall as skyscrapers, and a giant calls "Fee, fi, fo, fum" NA E18·01:44:48 NA E18·01:44:59. Another giant accuses the cat of killing their little brother, the Ogre of Carabas, turned into a mouse, and demands the trickster NA E18·01:45:37. Guarded by the giants, Pib sees Jack hanging in a cage from a gibbet NA E18·01:46:47. The harp playing sends the last giant to the ground, snoring, and Pib remembers that giants did attack and that the Queen of Snowhold knew the giants of this world NA E18·01:53:24 NA E18·01:53:35. The party gets the boy down and returns to the Baba Yaga's cottage NA E18·01:54:51. Brennan calls it a land of giants that are all sleeping as the Baba Yaga's cottage walks through, and Jack says he went to the Land of Giants NA E18·01:58:30 NA E18·01:59:39.
