The caldera

Brennan explains that a caldera is the hole where the lava comes out BK E2·00:04:57. This one holds a bay off a larger sea of lava, with a ceiling a couple of hundred feet up and a channel to the open sky BK E2·00:05:31. The party travelled about forty-five minutes underground to reach it BK E2·00:05:31.

The caldera of the Scary Volcano holds the forge and anvil where Zaul'Nazh forged his One Crown, and the battle with Kasara and Telmeir takes place there BK E2·00:01:21 BK E2·00:05:31. Telmeir is pulled into its lava and Kasara is hurled into it BK E2·01:30:03 BK E2·01:53:27. After the airship falls, the party crashes into the caldera and takes a short rest there BK E5·00:27:47 BK E5·01:01:28.
